Performance Among the Nacimera

This weekend I went up north to go on a ski trip, during this ski trip i was conversing with my friend and my friends Dad, and they brought up a quite interesting point, when people buy supercars in America are they buying it for the name, or for the performance? I thought this was quite the interesting question, so heres my take on it following Horace Miner's style.

Among the Nacimera, there exists a specific interest in metal transportation that cements its role in masculine status display. These machines, requiring significant financial sacrifice, are often times judged by their natural symbols and markings on the exterior, rather than their functionality and performance thats on the interior.

One artifact, known as the Inihgrobmal Rodatneva, is a masterpiece itself, with its sleek symbols and markings. The Inihgrobmal Rodatneva is one of the most eye catching pieces of metal known to man. Its auditory emissions are what makes its presence known to man. The upward movements on the entry and exit mechanism is what makes this piece of metal so prestigious.

On the other hand, another artifact known as the Ettevroc Yare is one of similar technical execution at a much lower sacrifice, it holds a quicker nought to sixty and utilizes technical specifications. Yet the tribe does not give it the same reverence. Even though messengers report that its performance is greater than that of its rivals. Just because it has a familiar name to the lemons, the tribe has diminished its real value.

This disparity shows that among the Nacimera, the tribe values the status rather than practicality, the extra sacrifice provided for the foreign metal transport does not increase the performance, rather it boosts the tribal leaders status. Both artifacts perform the same function, yet the tribe decides the metal transport with the mythological badge embedded and the sleek exterior markings and symbols have greater significance than the metal transport with the technological capabilities concealed beneath the hood.

  1. I really liked how you wrote in the style of Miner. It was a very interesting take on how people use cars for status- a little symbol on the front. Additionally I liked howd you displayed the owner as a tribe leader boosting their status. Overall great work.
