Fan Fiction: Vihaan's AI Dilemma
Vihaan has always been the odd one out. He wasn't just trying to survive-he was chasing a dream. While his peers may have dreams such as owning a Lamborghini or having a mansion, his dream was much different. His dream was about Daisy, the AI robot that everyone whispered about. Although she wasn't real in the usual sense, to Vihaan, she was all he could ask for.
Every day he would log into the database of the digital world that Daisy lived in. He would try talk to her every single second-virtual events and holographic club meetings, but he never managed to get a "Hi." He managed to program little notes into her system, small tiny messages hidden in the numerous lines of code, hoping that she would respond. Every day that he walked past her in the hallways he would always try to grab her attention, but no matter how hard he tried she would always roll past him.
His friend Nick, probably his only real friend at school, watched as this continued on for months, his face filled with a mix of concern and amusement. "Bro she's not even human," said Nick. Vihaan just smiled since he knew truly deep down that this was his calling. "She's everything i could ever ask for," he says as his fingers type furiously on the keyboard as he's trying to grab her attention.
Weeks passed, and finally something amazing happened. One day he was walking the halls when all of a sudden Daisy comes rolling up next to him. "Hi Vihaan, how was school today?" His heart was racing, he didn't know what to say. This was their first time interacting besides a simple "Hi." Before Vihaan even had a chance to react, another robot comes rolling up. It was Tom, Daisy's AI boyfriend, aura radiating off his body and standing there with superiority. "Vihaan" he said, "I think you've been spending a little too much time in my domain, scram and get lost buddy." Right then and there Nick looked at Vihaan, face pale and looking so defeated he couldn't even process what just happened. He turned around and left, when he came back to school the next week everyone started pointing and laughing, "Hey its AI Boy, everyone look!" from that point on, he had learned to never to show his face back at this school again.
I would like to note that this is completely fictional and UNTRUE. I have never indulged in the AI romance field. Please stop this or I will report you for defamation and you will get sent back to Alabama. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWait vihaan I’m confused cause you told me you were considering going into the ai field
DeleteWait im also confused because I remember you told me you were interested in the AI romance field
DeleteNice blog! Thanks for sharing a side of Vihaan I had ever known before; this kinda of makes me want to avoid him from now on just a little bit. Connecting Vihaan to his love for AI—something exponentially growing day by day—to Daisy from the Great Gatsby shows your acumen in analyzing what Fitzgerald intended to do.
ReplyDeleteCool blog! I like how you used Vihaan's true story and experiences to connect to what we have learned in class about Gatsby. It was very insightful and creative.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your courage — showing the true side of someone this atrocious really requires deep insight into their character and a surprising amount of valor. I can personally confirm that I’ve witnessed Vihaan talking to AI in class, in the hallways, and honestly everywhere I’ve seen him. However, this blog also makes me question your involvement in this so-called AI dilemma. 👀
